Jack Blog Hop

Welcome to this month's blog hot!  If you've come from Julie's blog, you're in the right spot!  https://craftwithjulie.blogspot.com/2017/07/jack-blog-hop.html

And here's my version of JACK!

I added papers from Jack Paper Packet X7222B and coordinating yardstick X7222D to a white card base.  I dry embossed the grey cardstock with a retired snowflake embossing folder.  I added white burlap ribbon X3323 around the center.  My saying was printed on my computer/printer in dark red ink and the juniper and white daisy cardstock were cut with the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.  The bear and mug are from the Jack card making kit and dies Z3333.  If you would like to start the hop from the beginning, start at Carol's blog:

No Worries Blog Hop

I have decided to give this blog thing another try after a LONG absence!  Please be patient--I'm just learning all the ins and out of a blog hop, so I'm sure this post will contain many mistakes!
Welcome to our No Worries Blog Hop! We will be showcasing items from our new Seasonal Expressions II catalog with various projects created by talented Close to my Heart consultants. If you are visiting from Julie Scott's blog, then you are on the right track, if not please start at the CTMH Blog Challenge and Support Group Blog Hop Guidelines beginning with our hostess Carol. Next check out KathyAndrolewicz's blog.
For my project, I tried to utilize scraps from another scrapbook project I'm currently working on (my fabulous cruise to the Bahamas). I made a tiny shopping bag from the Art Philosophy cartridge with the No Worries paper pack, added the palm trees from the No Worries scrapbooking stamp set and a little tag with the seagulls from the same set. I used the white burlap ribbon and an old retired tag. All products are from Close to My Heart and are listed below.
I hope you enjoy this blog hop! I promise the next one will be better!

Products Used:
X7220B No Worries Paper Pack

A Great Day for Jane!

Last Saturday my niece's high school basketball team played for the league championship.  As you can see by her face, THEY WON!  She was so excited that she jumped right into my son's arms when he went to congratulate her.  It is not the greatest photo-pretty blurry since they were jumping around and I took it on my phone.  But it captures her JOY at winning!  This was her last high school game as she is a senior so it was pretty BIG!  She was named Honorable Mention all-league as well, so a great end to a great season.  I can't wait to scrapbook this shot, along with many others from the season.

In the new Fall/Winter 2013 catalog there are great new stamps designated especially for hostesses. They are available as part of the rewards for hostesses at great prices. The stamp above is part of this program. It is called Bright All Night. It looks great in any color scheme with any paper pack. Here I used Twilight ink and an old paper pack called Wonderland. It makes such a quick, easy card. Plan your gathering and earn some great hostess stamps for yourself!

A Big Day!

Yesterday was a big day for our family.  Our youngest son, Peyton graduated from high school.  It was one of those bittersweet moments--we are so proud of him, yet I'm not sure we are ready for him to leave the nest.  His older brother is finished with school (for now anyway) and is working.  He lives at home, but we don't see much of him.  Peyton is working two jobs this summer so we won't see much of him either.  How did they grow up so fast?
In the meantime I am busy planning his graduation party for this Saturday and I'm busy making favors using Close to My Heart products of course!  I'll post pictures of those soon.  Maybe it will spark your creativity for upcoming parties or showers.
